Frequently Asked Questions in Hickory, KY
Everything you need to know about specs, turnarounds, and commercial press quality:
Do I need to buy a mailing list to send postcards in Hickory?
No! That is the primary advantage of Every Door Direct Mail. You do not purchase names or addresses. Instead, you select postal routes in Graves, and the postal carrier delivers your postcard to every single address along that route.
What postcard sizes are approved by the USPS for EDDM in Hickory?
USPS requires EDDM mailers to meet specific 'flat' criteria: longer than 10.5" OR taller than 6.125" OR thicker than 0.25". Our most popular USPS-compliant sizes for Hickory campaigns are 6.5" x 9", 6.25" x 11", and 8.5" x 11" jumbo mailers.
Is there a minimum order quantity for an EDDM campaign in Hickory?
USPS requires a minimum of 200 postcards (or one full carrier route) per day, up to a maximum of 5,000 cards per day per zip code without an active postal permit. Most Hickory business campaigns start between 1,000 and 5,000 homes.
What paper stock do you use for postcards mailed in Hickory?
We print on heavy 16pt commercial cardstock (or 14pt upon request) with your choice of high-gloss UV coating for vibrant color protection or silk matte finish for an elegant glare-free look.
