Frequently Asked Questions in Richmond, KY
Everything you need to know about specs, turnarounds, and commercial press quality:
Do I need to buy a mailing list to send postcards in Richmond?
No! That is the primary advantage of Every Door Direct Mail. You do not purchase names or addresses. Instead, you select postal routes in Madison, and the postal carrier delivers your postcard to every single address along that route.
Is there a minimum order quantity for an EDDM campaign in Richmond?
USPS requires a minimum of 200 postcards (or one full carrier route) per day, up to a maximum of 5,000 cards per day per zip code without an active postal permit. Most Richmond business campaigns start between 1,000 and 5,000 homes.
Can I see a proof before my Richmond postcards are printed?
Absolutely. Every order includes an interactive 3D digital proof and automated preflight inspection to ensure bleed margins, postal safe areas, and CMYK color profiles are 100% press-ready before production.
What postcard sizes are approved by the USPS for EDDM in Richmond?
USPS requires EDDM mailers to meet specific 'flat' criteria: longer than 10.5" OR taller than 6.125" OR thicker than 0.25". Our most popular USPS-compliant sizes for Richmond campaigns are 6.5" x 9", 6.25" x 11", and 8.5" x 11" jumbo mailers.
