Frequently Asked Questions in Salix, PA
Everything you need to know about specs, turnarounds, and commercial press quality:
Is there a minimum order quantity for an EDDM campaign in Salix?
USPS requires a minimum of 200 postcards (or one full carrier route) per day, up to a maximum of 5,000 cards per day per zip code without an active postal permit. Most Salix business campaigns start between 1,000 and 5,000 homes.
What postcard sizes are approved by the USPS for EDDM in Salix?
USPS requires EDDM mailers to meet specific 'flat' criteria: longer than 10.5" OR taller than 6.125" OR thicker than 0.25". Our most popular USPS-compliant sizes for Salix campaigns are 6.5" x 9", 6.25" x 11", and 8.5" x 11" jumbo mailers.
Do I need to buy a mailing list to send postcards in Salix?
No! That is the primary advantage of Every Door Direct Mail. You do not purchase names or addresses. Instead, you select postal routes in Cambria, and the postal carrier delivers your postcard to every single address along that route.
Can I filter out apartments and businesses in Salix?
Yes. Our interactive mapping tool allows you to select residential-only delivery, effectively filtering out commercial business boxes and apartment complexes if you are targeting homeowners in Salix.
